October 10, 2014

Henny Admoni attended this year’s Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing in Phoenix, Arizona on October 8-10. The Grace Hopper Celebration is the largest gathering of women technologists in the world, with 8,000 attendees this year. Henny contributed to the conference by leading a roundtable session on undergraduate research experiences hosted by the CRA-W at the Student Opportunity Lab.

While there, Henny met up with five other Scazlab alumnae: Emily Bernier (BA ‘09, lab manager 2008-2010), Eleanor Avrunin (BS ‘11), Cindy Bethel (postdoc 2009-2011), Jenny Liu (high school intern, 2011), and Mariya Toneva (BS ‘14).
