Professor Scassellati delivered the keynote address at the 2015 Yale Technology Summit. This second annual summit hosted by Yale Information Technology Services addressed technology and innovations among the Yale community and New Haven. Professor Scassellati discussed the shift in robotics away from industry to the home, where robots are taking on new “socially assistive” roles that can help with daily tasks, education, and responding to the myriad of changing physical, social, and emotional environmental conditions.
