Álvaro Castro-González is a Member of the Robotics Lab Research Group and Assistant Professor at the Department of Systems Engineering and Automation of the Carlos III University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain. His current research focuses on personal and social robots, human–robot interaction, decision making systems, autonomy, artificial emotions, and motivations on robots.
Álvaro received the B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of León, León, Spain, in 2005, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in robotics and automation from the Carlos III University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain, in 2008 and 2012, respectively.
