Fred is interested in computational methods for eye-tracking analysis, with a specific emphasis on the study of developmental trends in autism spectrum disorders (ASD). He also has interests in computational models of development, computational and mathematical models of visual attention, and proton and carbon-13 magnetic resonance spectroscopy.

Fred has two beautiful daughters and a beautiful wife who have consistently ignored his attempts to teach them Brazilian Jiu-jitsu armlocks, leglocks, and choke holds.
